Coaching programmes are designed to develop sound cricket techniques. There is increased attention on developing match awareness. Sessions are designed and plenty of matches are organised with both these in mind. It’s a busy and fun age group. All players have opportunity to play plenty of matches on well kept grass wickets. All matches will be hard ball and played mainly on Sundays but also some midweek evenings. Some matches will be proper cricket, some pairs cricket. There are development benefits to both formats at this age group.
