Management Team

Andrew first played for the senior team in 1973, and has scored over 25,000 runs for the Club. He was skipper from 1986 to 1988, and played in the three Surrey Championship League 1st XI winning teams in 1983, 1993 and 1996. Andrew served as Chairman of the Club for a number of years, and is honoured to serve as President of the Club.

Dan has been at Esher through 2 spells either side of a trip overseas for work since 2013.  Representing both the first and second team, captaining the later for 2 seasons in 2021 and 22, Dan assumed the role of chairman in 2025.  Prior to playing at Esher Dan spent 20 years in the lower Surrey Leagues with Merrow CC.

Neil has been a member of Esher CC for many years and joined the Management Committee as Hon. Secretary in March 2021, serving as chairman between 2022 and 2025. Both his sons enjoyed playing for the Junior sides with one son currently playing for the Academy and Senior teams.

As a former social cricketer with the London Utopers, Neil aims to add value to the club off the field rather than on it.

Rachel Narinesingh is the Esher CC Safeguarding Officer and has responsibility for safeguarding / child protection across the club. Rachel is passionate about creating a supportive, welcoming environment for our young cricketers where they can thrive and enjoy the game. Her two sons both play cricket at Esher CC in their respective age group as does her husband so you will often find Rachel spectating at the club.

A member of Esher CC since 2002 John has held the roles of Chairman (2009 to 2013), Chairman of Youth cricket (2005 to 2012) and 2nd XI captain (2005 & 2006) at the club. John is a playing member of the MCC and previous clubs include Richmond CC, Wokingham CC, Cobham Avorians CC and Berkshire CCC in the Minor Counties Championship.

Duncan has been an Esher member since 1993 and held a number of playing positions within the Club. Duncan played professional cricket for Surrey, Glamorgan and Scotland having represented England at U19 level. Duncan was appointed General Manager in 2002 and combines this role with Head of Coaching at the Club, appointed in this position since 1998.

Vince chairs the Adult Cricket Committee overseeing the adult playing strength of the club, selection policy and the appointment of captains. The Committee is responsible also for ensuring a broad pathway into adult cricket for our Young Cricketers. In addition, Vince is Chairman of the Adult Team Selection Committee.

Mark looks after Boys cricket of around 500 members. He lives locally, is a playing member of the club and a Level 2 coach. Mark has a son who plays in the U10 age group.

Matt became a member of the club when he moved to Esher in 2014, where both his children have represented the junior sections from U8 and he was involved in supporting their teams – as a scorer for his son’s team and since 2021, as AGM for his daughter’s age group.

In 2022, he took on the role of managing the junior girls section, helping to deliver a significantly expanded league matches program to a rapidly increasing pool of junior girl members and representing Girls cricket on the Management Committee. From 2026 he took over from Sid Simmons as the Director of Women’s Hardball & Girls cricket, working closely with Shashi Malik as the new Head of Women & Girls to further develop all levels of female cricket at Esher. Matt is also the Age Group Manager of Senior Girls and the Women’s 1st XI where his daughter continues to play.
