Our Girls/ Women take over the club on Tuesday evenings.
Training is from 29th April 2024 from 7:00pm-8:30pm, for 15 weeks. All training is delivered by our professional coaches.
All players have opportunity to play plenty of matches on well kept grass wickets. Match play is normally a Sunday and also on midweek evenings.
Leagues Entered
The senior girls are entered into the following leagues and will be selected based on qualifying age and appropriateness of the competition to give them the best development opportunities:
- Girls Under 13 tier 1 central – 2025
- Girls Under 13 tier 2 north west – 2025
- Girls Under 14 tier 1a – 2025
- Girls Under 14 tier 2 north west – 2025
- Girls Under 15 tier 1 north – 2025

Last year: The Senior Girls were Finalists in the U15 Hundred Cup, Finalist in the Women’s Plate, and Finalist 2024 Surrey Women’s League Cup (yet to be played. Scheduled May 2025)
Match playing Kit: All players will be required to have their own protective kit (Bat, Helmet, Pads, Gloves, Box) For matchplay we play in the Esher Navy Blue Playing Shirt and Navy trousers. Kit is available to purchase from the club kit shop and is supplied by Masuri. For the shirt, numbers are allowed on the back, but no names please. https://eshercc.co.uk/kit/

Batting | – A good understanding of the techniques of all batting shots |
– Knowledge of which shots to play to which balls – Shot Selection | |
– Gaining an understanding of how to play deliveries that swing | |
– How to play on certain types of wickets | |
– Shot selection and hitting areas when playing spin bowlers | |
– Hitting with power but keeping good shapes | |
Bowling | – To be able to bowl 4 or 5 balls out of 6 in the same area |
– To be able to bowl consistently to a 6:3 field | |
– To be able to bowl good lines when bowling at Left / Right batting combinations | |
– To be able to adjust line and length at will | |
Fielding | – Introducing slip and gully fielding techniques |
– How to put the batsman under pressure with your fielding | |
– How to field in boundary positions or sweeping | |
– Going for direct hit run outs |
