Training is on Monday evenings, from 22rd April 2024 from 6.15pm-8.15pm, for 15 weeks. All training is delivered by our professional coaches. There are around 55 players within the age group. All training and matchplay is included within the Club Membership. Annual Membership is available from our shop.
All players have opportunity to play plenty of matches on well kept grass wickets. Match play is normally on a Sunday with additional midweek games.
The Under 12 age group sees all players playing proper ‘out your out’ cricket, away from the pairs cricket they experienced in the younger age groups. All players train and play with a hard ball.
The main ethos of the age group is plenty of cricket and development of all.
For the 2024 season, we will play in the following Surrey Junior Cricket Championship Leagues.
U12 – Tier 1 (3 teams), U12 – Tier 2 (1 team), U12-Tier 3 (1 team). All matches are proper cricket and 20 overs.
Match playing Kit: All players will be required to have their own protective kit (Bat, Helmet, Pads, Gloves, Box) For matchplay we play in the Esher Navy Blue Playing Shirt and Navy trousers. Kit is available to purchase from the club kit shop and is supplied by Masuri. For the shirt, numbers are allowed on the back, but no names please. https://eshercc.co.uk/kit/

Please see below for our 2023 Season Report
This was a fantastic season for the U11s but more importantly, a group of boys who enjoyed themselves, played the game in the right spirit and who really developed their skills and their learning of the game. We played in four Tier 1 leagues and ended the season top in one and runners up in two. The Tier 2 side played ‘out your out’ cricket for the first time. Confidence with both bat and ball increased significantly over the course of the season and it was a joy to see how much they grew as team, supporting each other in both good and more challenging times. There are lots of positives going into the 2024 season and a few things to work on for winter nets
