Justin Broad
Justin is a highly talented Right-hander from Cape Town. A talented all-round sportsman, Justin represented the school in Hockey, Golf, Tennis, Rugby as well as Cricket. He went on to represent the province in Cricket as well as Hockey and Golf at age group levels, quite impressive. However, as Justin matured, Cricket became a significant focus for him, especially with him attending Rondebosch Boys High School, a renowned Cricket school, not just in the Western Cape but nationally.
Having excelled through the U14/U15 age groups at school, he was selected to represent Western Province at the National U15 week and dominated. Finishing as the competitions 2nd highest run scorer. He backed this performance up with a quality National U17 week, where he was the also again in the top 5 for runs scored.
In 2017-18, he was selected to play for the Cape Cobras Franchise Cubs side at the National Cubs week, seeing him compete amongst the most promising 66 players in the country despite being just 17.
Justin made his first appearance in UK club cricket in 2019, joining Bury St Edmunds CC in the ECB East Anglian Premier League. After a steady start, Justin’s season got going on an outstanding T20 day at Frinton-on-Sea, scoring 102* v Copdock & OI CC then followed this up with 94 in a losing cause against winners, Sudbury CC.
During his spell in Suffolk he was also part of the Marylebone Cricket Club Young Cricketers. His best performance came against Glamorgan in the Second XI Championship when he scored 87 off 199 balls. After performing well for the MCC YCs and another successful season with Bury St Edmunds in 2020 Justin signed with Surrey and will be part of their squad in 2021.

Krish a Surrey CC pathway player, is a prodigious talent and arguably the strongest player in Surrey u19EPP – he scored the most runs, was statistically the best and made a memorable 157 not out against Hampshire in the Summer.
He is currently combining his online remote learning at St Paul’s School alongside training with the Rajasthan Royals in Dubai.
Krish is part of a strong school 1st XI which includes Esher’s 1st team leg-spinner Freddie Harrison. The club selectors will be looking forward to having both these talented youngsters back available once the school term ends.
