Cricket Camps
Summer T20 Cricket Camps 2024
Summer Cricket Camps will start on Monday 8th July and run most weeks through until Friday 23rd Aug 2024.
Held at our main ground of Esher CC, New Road
The courses are available for boys and girls age groups 6 to 13 and can be booked for Half Day Mornings (9.00am to 12.30pm) or Full Days (9.00am to 5.00pm). For those booking Full Days, Lunch is included
This summer the camps will have a T20 Theme – with both onfield and classroom based sessions

Young Cricketers U6, U7 are advised to attend morning sessions only.

At each session we will group the boys and girls according to age group and experience.
The coaching staff will be drawn from the boys and girls regular coaches and the ever popular Snr Academy cricketers. Every day of each course is available to all age groups (from age 6 upwards) of boys and girls
Course Times:
- Morning coaching will run between 9.00am and 12.30pm.
- All Day coaching will run between 9.00am and 5.00pm – Includes Lunch
Registration will open from 8:45am for the morning sessions
Please ensure you bring any required kit, water bottles, hats and wear sunscreen.

Esher Cricket Club – Summer T20 Course Programme
This summer we will be introducing a new style for the summer courses. The coaching modules will revolve around T20 Cricket, please see the below modules that we will cover each week.
Batting: Power Hitting, Attacking Spin, Where and How to Hit Length Balls, How to play Scoops & Switch Hits, How to increase your Bat Speed, Finding Gaps – Leaving your Comfort Zone, How to play Sweeps – Paddle, Slog and Traditional
Bowling: Bowling at the Death, Slower Balls – The different styles, Bowling to your Field, Where and how to bowl Dot Ball
Fielding & Match Awareness: How to place a field for your style of bowling, Improve your ground fielding – Attacking the Ball, Going for Run Outs – Direct Hits, Catching in the Deep
We will support these modules with videos from Jason Roy, Brendon McCullum, AB de Villiers, a selection of bowlers and some Classroom type sessions
