Winter Nets Courses (Indoor)

We offer Indoor Pre-Xmas and Post Xmas Winter Nets coaching courses for age groups U8+.

Boys Pre-Xmas Indoor Coaching Course – 12th October to 19th December 2021- 10 weeks.

We are pleased to confirm that during the autumn / early winter Esher CC will be running 10 weeks of indoor cricket courses from Oct to Dec 2021.

These will be held Claremont Fan Court School which has two indoor nets, a separate playing area, where we can use the bowling machine or as an additional net. Sessions will include skill drills for batting, bowling and fielding. Each session will be either 120 or 90 mins in length. Places will be limited to a maximum attendance number of 12 YC’s per session, which will ensure that every young cricketer receives good batting and bowling time.

With a coach ratio of 4:1, increased batting time, use of a bowling machine and a sports centre for only our use, I’m expecting these sessions to be the best so far for developing Esher’s young cricketers.

We will also be using video equipment to capture the YC’s technique for both batting and bowling, which we will analyse and share with the parents. This will bring a further dimension to the coaching programme, as they say “Seeing is Believing”

Coaches: Sohail Ahmed, Khurram Irsad and Duncan Pauline – All Ex 1st Class Cricketers and extremely experienced at coaching to a high standard at youth level.

Tuesday’s– U12’s – 6.15 to 8.15pm – 12th Oct to 14th Dec – 10 Weeks – £325

Weds– U13’s – 6.15 to 8.15pm – 13th Oct to 15th Dec (Excl 10/11/2021) – 9 Weeks – £295

Thursday’s – U14 & U15’s – 6.15 to 8.15pm – 14th Oct to 16th Dec (Excl 4/11/21) – 9 Weeks – £295

Friday’s– U11’s – from 6.15 to 8.15pm (2hrs) – 15th Oct to 17th Dec – 10 Weeks – £325

Saturday’s (90mins):

U9’s – 12.30 to 2.00pm – 10 Weeks – 6th Oct to 18th Dec – £250

U10’s – 2.15 to 3.45pm – 10 Weeks – 6th Oct to 18th Dec – £250

U11’s – 4.00 to 5.30pm – 10 Weeks – 6th Oct to 18th Dec – £250

U13’s – 5.45 to 7.15pm – 10 Weeks – £250

Sunday’s (90mins):

U9’s – 2.00 to 3.30pm – 10 Weeks – 17th Oct to 19th Dec – £250

U10’s – 3.45 to 5.15pm – 10 Weeks – 17th Oct to 19th Dec – £250

The age groups referred to are the age groups for next season (2022). All age groups will play with a hard cricket ball. Please note that cricket balls will not be supplied, so please bring your own, along with your full cricket kit.
