Professional Approach to Coaching – All Abilities
We are proud to be able to exclusively offer professional coaching of the highest calibre to develop, coordinate and coach all junior cricketers, rather than relying on parental volunteers. Not only do we operate a strong seasonal coaching programme for all our cricketers, we also offer a full winter training program, additional holiday courses and 1:1s.
Callum Green – Director Of Ladies & Girls Coaching
Callum is ECB UKCC Level 2 (undergoing ECB Level 3 ) and is also undertaking an online course in Performance Analysis. He attended Millfield School and has a BSc in Sports Coaching from Loughborough University.
After graduating, Callum spent the winter in Sydney, Australia completing the International Cricket Programme, whilst playing for a Sydney club side and coaching for the Pro Performance Academy.
Callum has experience of coaching a variety of ages and is currently a Cricket coach and Graduate Sports Assistant at Reed’s School, Cobham.
Callum’s playing career includes representing Loughborough Uni 1st XI, Maori Oxshott CC, Guildford CC and is currently at Surrey Premiership side Normandy CC where he is a wicket keeper/batsman. Both his playing and coaching career have taken him on several tours to the Caribbean and two tours to the World Cricket Academy in Mumbai and Nagpur in India.
Pete Slaney
Pete is a UKCC Diploma (Level 3) Cricket Coach – Pete’s cricketing pedigree includes the representing Chesterfield CC in the former Bassetlaw League, Derbyshire CCC up to U19 level, playing for Pudsey St. Lawrence in the Bradford League and Cove CCC in the old Three Counties league (Hants, Berks & Surrey). Pete was previously Head Coach at East Molesey CC, Colts Coach Co-Coordinator at Kempton CC, age-group coach for Surrey Central District before moving to Middlesex CCC.
Pete is currently coaching at Esher CC, Middlesex Richmond Borough U14’s and at St. Paul’s School Barnes, where he coaches U15A cricket team and U14 rugby in winter. Pete is constantly trying to improve his coaching, completing the ECB advanced learning modules in coaching teams, performance and video analysis, as well as training interventions and methods.
Jenny Gluckman
Jenny is extremely passionate about cricket and furthering women’s involvement in the sport. She was president of the University of Nottingham’s ladies cricket club, gaining the biggest intake of members in recent years. She has coached at many local clubs in Surrey (Stoke D’abernon, East Molesey, Ashtead, Oxshott) after achieving her ECB level 2 coaching qualification. She worked for Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club while at uni, running a women’s indoor softball league and coaching a disability group. She was a coach and general administrator at the Reeds Indoor Cricket Centre where she helped coach the school’s first ladies cricket team.
Jack Slaney
Jack has played cricket at Esher Cricket Club since he was 10, and is now a qualified ECB Level 1 coach after spending last season as a junior coach in the Esher girls’ section. Jack spent last season playing u19 and 1st and 2nd XI cricket for the club, and is looking forward to continue working as a coach.
