We are really excited to be partnering up with Imber Court to continue to provide excellent cricket facilities for Junior and Adult Cricket. Imber Court and Esher CC share the same values and a long history within our local community. We are excited by this year’s (2021) developments that connect us with Imber Court for the long term. We will be working together in partnership to develop and improve the cricket facilities to ensure that the pitches are used 7 days a week throughout the cricket season. Under our stewardship, the ground will host a range of fixtures for our boys, girls and senior 3rd and 4th XIs.

Imber Court has a long illustrious history with hosting cricket games, serving as the home sports ground of the Metropolitan Police and an out-ground for Surrey CCC and, as such, is well appointed and impressively maintained.

Originally located in the countryside, the ground is now in the heart of suburbia and is located between Sandown Park and Hampton Court. The cricket ground’s heyday was in the Second World War when representative matches attracted crowds of several thousand and raised large sums for charities. The new pavilion was opened in 1983, the same year the venue hosted its one and only John Player league match, but Surrey returned in 2003 to play one of their first Twenty20 matches. Both games attracted good crowds.

In partnership with Imber Court, we aim to re-instate this fantastic facility to its former 1st class glory.
